Years ago, when my kidlets were not yet teenagers, we made UFO's from sheer dry cleaning bags, straws, a paper clip and alcohol. They still recall the awe and delight as those early UFO's sailed out over the Pacific Ocean, the blue glow visible for a long, long time. Now grown, they have wished for the opportunity to share the wonder of those aerial displays with their own families; living in the midwest instead of Hawaii, they were unsure how safe those early models of UFO's would be.
